This look was worn out and about, running errands and I actually really loved it. It’s my typical late 90’s inspired look with a denim skirt a mini shoulder bag. My top is “Fendi inspired” (cringe, I know. but I liked it) from Urban Outfitters (who unfortunately no longer has my business), my skirt is from Topshop, the bag is from Monki, and the belt from Fossil.
Things are finally starting to open up now, so I’ve actually been really excited to wear more looks and see how many clothing combinations I can come up with since half of my clothes are still in London. Before I was using these “Quarantine Look” posts as something to look forward to and to document the outfits I wore during quarantine, but now that I can wear more looks, I think I’m just going to go back to documenting my everyday outfits since I’m a bit more excited to wear them now. How have you been expressing yourself during quarantine?
Happy June! I honestly can’t believe how fast time is going considering we can’t actually do anything.
This a casual grocery store look that I put together that I really liked that day. The grocery store has become my new runway and I always look forward to dressing up just to grab what we need lol. Do whatever you can do to stay sane people. I’ve been curating looks to really go all out for my next few shops so I’ll see you in my next post. Stay safe x
Hi everyone, hope you’re all keeping safe and well! I’ve decided to document my quarantine looks since I’ve been trying to drive my blog back to the outfit inspiration platform I had initially made it to be. This look was worn on Easter, and I love how girly and kind of shabby chic it looks- a side of me that exists but people rarely see. This dress is from one of my favorite independent brands and Topshop “Lace and Beads”. If you’re into girly, romantic, frilly clothing or pastels it’s definitely a brand I’d check out. Then I just paired it with some nude strapped Jessica Simpson heels.
Since we can’t leave the house, I’ve decided to use every opportunity I can to wear a cute outfit. I know, I sound crazy. But if dressing up gives you a sense of sanity and control, then you’ll understand. I decided to make a mini series here on my blog, and document outfits I’ve worn during this time, not only to look back on but to get back to my roots. I originally made this blog to post outfit inspiration and style tips for people who needed them, and I feel like over the years I’ve strayed away from that, and created more of a lifestyle blog. I’ve been finding my love for clothes and creating looks again, so expect some new outfit posts from me during this pandemic and beyond! Outfit details below.
