Another concept that I wanted brought to life. I am so proud of the outcome, so I’ll just leave the photos here for you to enjoy.

The Attic

One of my favorite shoots to create and model for..

Over the summer, I styled a 90’s/early 2000s inspired photoshoot and I enjoyed it so much. I’ve been modeling since i was 14 years old, and I love every bit of it. The photoshoots, the networking, the fashion shows, the list goes on. But I also love the creative side behind the scenes: styling, creative direction, etc. So I try to do collaborations with local photographers as much as I can. Here are some of my favorite shots from the shoot below.

Enjoy! XO- Ally

Instyle Cayman

Last month, I was apart of a new local fashion show that involved beautiful designs and lovely people. I was lucky to have 8 looks (very hectic) in the main show, and one in the pre-show. I wish I could model every day. I love runway and editorial, and love modeling so much. I hope to get into it semi professionally for a bit just to experiment! Anyway, here are some of my looks below.

Theme: 7 deadly sins: gluttony

These photos are apart of a styling assignment I had for school. The concept behind this work is the seven deadly sins. We had to choose one sin and create a story through styling and photography, and I chose gluttony. This represents the life of an alcoholic, helped brought to life by my friend Niall (model).

As some of you may know, I moved to London to pursue fashion. Here is a classmate I styled a few weeks ago.

Today we had our first styling session which I was SO excited about because if you didn’t know, I want to be a stylist! Here is one of the outfits, styled and modeled by me. x

Fashion Meets Art ft. Isy B & Jawara

I was recently invited to a fashion exhibition for two local fashion designers at the National Gallery art museum. The inspiration behind the fashion pieces were paintings, sculptures, and photography. Here are my favorite pieces designed by Jawara and Isy B.

The first 3 pieces represent slavery in the islands are made out of leather. The ensembles in the second and fourth photos are inspired by paintings painted by local artists on the island.  The white dress in the second photo is inspired by a winding sculpture resembling a conch shell, sculpted by a local artist as well.

The last two dresses are inspired by Caymanian Culture. The brown dress is made out of a potato sack, embellished with pearls and cinched in with blue fabric. The last 2 dresses (in the last photo)  are inspired by local thatch work made in the islands’ earlier days. I couldn’t get a photo of the back, but there is beautiful thatch detailing.
